Grizzly True Crime was launched on YouTube by Gisela K. in June 2021 and has since grown to a community of over 380 000 ‘Grizzlies’. As a community, we love deep dives, map time, presentations, case documents, interrogation videos, and watching trials together. We’re known as a fiercely protective, proactive, empathetic community, but just like Grizzly Bears, we can be snarky and stand our ground where needed/appropriate.

With utmost respect to victims and their families, we explore the world of true crime safely together.. We study and recognize patterns in cases with topics including domestic violence, stalking, and coercive control, sharing vital information that may help to save lives. Join us in the next video/livestream, we look forward to welcoming you to our community.

Our Community Is Growing! Join Us!

Subscribing is 100% free and you get access to Videos, Livestreams, YouTube Shorts, Community Posts, and majority of the content I make. Make sure your notifications are ON so you don’t miss out on the next interactive chat!

Only 1% of Grizzlies are Patrons and yet it’s one of the BEST sources of support for my work. You get exclusive behind-the-scenes content, reliable notifications, loyalty merch, YouTube members replays, and more!

Become a member on YouTube to have your name highlighted in chat, access channel emojis, and join members-only livestreams (approx. 3 x per month). Please be aware that YouTube takes 50% of all proceeds, so if support is the main intention, there are far better ways to do that.

FAQs

What is Grizzly True Crime?

Grizzly True Crime is a YouTube channel created by Gisela K., which features deep dives on true crime and missing person’s cases, maptime, visual learning experiences, bullet points, snark, interactive livestreams, and live trial coverage.

Why the Grizzly bear theme?

The brand was born as ‘Grizzly Books True Crime’, later evolving into Grizzly True Crime on YouTube. Our mascot could’ve easily been a zebra, leopard, or any other animal, but a Grizzly bear community sounded just right. Also, did you know that group of bears is called a sleuth?

How Can I Become a Moderator/Team Member?

I have six brilliant moderators who have been with me since the beginning, a manager, and people who assist me in obtaining documents and FOIA files. Other than that, I don’t yet have a need to expand the team. But feel free to contact me with specific volunteer proposals.

What cases does Grizzly True Crime cover?

Grizzly True Crime covers a variety of cases and trials, including current cases, cold cases, and missing persons cases.
